Homeowners should be careful not to provide a banquet for animals looking to fatten up for the winter

If you put out a banquet, animals will come.

That’s the warning Laura Simon wants to give homeowners as wildlife goes into a “fall feeding frenzy.”

Simon is the field director of urban wildlife for the Humane Society of the United States. She explained that squirrels, raccoons, skunks, opossums and other animals are now fattening up for the hard winter ahead.
