Who let the dogs out?
That’s probably what some residents were wondering as they entered the Fort Pierce Library on Saturday for the Waggin’ Tales “Hooray for Reading Day” party.
The popular St. Lucie County reading program that brings dogs and young readers together for therapeutic sessions celebrated its three-year anniversary with games, prizes, and book giveaways for everyone who attended.
“The highlight of my summer was to come to Waggin’ Tales once a week for 20 minutes to read with my favorite dog, Eddie,” said Bryanna Silvay, 9, of Fort Pierce.
