That's so adorable! I don't have much experience with pigs, feral or
domestic, so anecdotes about them always surprise me. Thanks for
sharing!

Also, I can't send you his email address, but if he sees your comment
and tells me he'd like to contact you, I'll send your information to
each other.

I thought I was Nutz!! But now I learn there is at least one other. Please forward this message to Mike.
My pet feral pig's name is Josephine. She'll be 4 years old this December. We have lived here in Mountainair NM. for 2 years now and brought Josey with us from Northern California. Her species was supposedly brought to the US by the Russians who built Fort Ross, about 10 miles north of Bodega Bay in the 1800's, for food. Forty years later, after the Russians hunted the local sea otter to near extinction, they went back home and left the pigs to run wild.
We raised Ducks, and little 5 pound Josey took up residence in the pen with the ducks for the food we provided. When she got older she used to sleep in a lean-too that we had on our front porch.
Like squeaky, Josey squeaks when she gets excited, and her favorite beverage is Pepsi, or an occasional can of MGD. Send me Mike's email address and I'll send pictures.
Oh yes! Josephine uses to herd the deer that came on our property.
Make friends with the nose and you win their heart!
