Hungry hawks stalking tiny pets

Attention Fido, Fluffy and Scruffy: Consider yourselves warned.

Dog lovers walking their best friends at Willistead Park say they’ve seen a pair of hungry hawks stalking the skies overhead, swooping down to scoop up squirrels and pigeons — and taking a run at the odd little pooch.

Windsor firefighter Mark Koppeser said his Yorkshire terrier, Ginger, was inches away from being eaten by a large hawk at the park Wednesday morning.
