
Hawk Reeves named her place Phoenix Pharms, after the mythical bird that rises from its own ashes, because it's where her rescued horses and other animals find new life.
"It's the place where heaven and horses meet," she said.
Giving animals second chances is a passion for Reeves, who has lived with husband, Paul, on the 80-acre property near Greenville since April.
"It's the air I breathe," she said, "the blood in my veins."

I was just surffing the web and found that the article about our farm was posted here. WOW!!!!! Thank you so much for getting the word around. By the way we lost Scar Face just after all the articles were printed. We have a new baby now and his name is Yetti Baby he is a 5 month old standard poodle. We have also added a grand daughter of Seattle Slew to our heard. Thanks again Hawk
