A business owner celebrated opening day of her Texas dog food store by helping donate $9,000 worth of items for a pet food bank.
Christy Howard of Fort Worth owns Three Dog Bakery in Southlake.
Howard had her five dogs along in her SUV on Friday as she hauled about 3,000 pouches of dog food to the Tarrant Area Food Bank.
The Tarrant Area Food Bank serves humans, but hard economic times have affected the ability of some people to feed their pets.
