Ah, yes, it's Caturday. Happy Caturday!
Now it's time for a cat story:
A few nights ago my cat, Macaroon, did something that even I, an experienced cat connoisseur, thought was unusually awesome.
Macaroon was dozing next to me as I was working on my computer, absentmindedly petting her. Suddenly, upon hearing my room mate close a door and jingle her keys, Macaroon sat straight up, stared pointedly at the door, and said "GRRRrrr..."
She sounded - and acted - like a guard dog. Like a BIG guard dog. Not like a demure, fluffy little kitty cat. This wasn't one of those semi-musical, feline grrrs. This was a deep-chested, throaty grrr, worthy of a mastiff or a wolfhound - or, as she would probably prefer, a tiger.
As soon as Macaroon ascertained that our premises were indeed safe and that my roommate was not a malicious intruder, she settled back down for a good purr and a tummy rub.
Needless to say, I feel a lot safer when I sleep at night, knowing that I have a miniature tiger with a protective streak in my room.
Happy Caturday,
MJ, aka Kitty Mowmow
