So, today is Saturday, I mean, er, CATurday.
This is the first installment of Kitty Mowmow's Caturday series, in which I'll be chatting casually with you about... well, probably animals.
I'm at my parent's house for the weekend to pick up a stray cat from my dad's veterinary office. The formerly stray cat will now be my cat! I'm going to name her Macaroon, because she reminds us of another cat we used to own (she died of cancer, very sad) named Coconut. Get it? Coconut? Macaroon? Coconut Macaroon?
Hopefully she'll get along with my roommate's cat, Bella. We'll be working on acclimating them to each other next week. Have you ever introduced a new pet to your older animals? How did you do it?
I still haven't emailed congress my letter asking them to help save the animals. 
I've just been busy with class and updating the blog and working and having a life and everything else! I'll definitely send them my letter next week, though.
Speaking of being busy and not getting around to things I should, have you noticed how terrible I am at responding promptly to your comments? I'm really sorry about that. I have the best of intentions of replying to you immediately, but then I usually wind up just sitting down for a few hours every couple of weeks and try to reply to as many of your comments as possible. I need to develop a new system or schedule for this process, so you won't have to wait a month to hear from me.
