I think that Cy, the Cyclopes kitten is cute. Not mocking the terminal illness he was born with, but loving and accepting him for what he was in the small amount of time that he was with us on Earth.

Don’t judge what is given to us by the appearance that makes it seem “abnormal”. The more unique a creation is, the better, and more beautiful it has become. There may be features about your faces that people don’t like, how would you feel if you were wrongfully insulted like Cy and the two headed kitten?

Calling something or someone ugly is insulting a trait that he or she cannot control. However, I think these two “odd” kittens are cuter than ANY human baby. Not everything comes out of the oven baked to “perfection”, so develop a taste for the imperfections that make life more interesting.

I agree. That's why I was so surprised that these photos were among the top
results for a Google image search of the word “kitten.” I think this mostly
speaks to mankind's natural curiosity about the weird and horrible. You see
an image like this, and you just HAVE to click on it to find out why and how
and where it happened. Maybe learning about the weird and horrible will help
us avoid it, or at least develop a safe understanding of it.
