Multi-platinum Aussies the Cat Empire have announced that they will release So Many Nights stateside on April 22 via Velour Music Group. With a bevy of feats including sold-out tours, appearances on national, late-night television shows, innumerable ARIA nominations and securing the Best World Album ARIA award in 2006, the band has successfully harnessed their worldly experiences into their latest endeavor under the supervision of legendary producer John Porter (Roxy Music, the Smiths, B.B. King, Ryan Adams). The US release of their new genre-defying disc boasts 15 tracks, which includes an exclusive bonus track titled “Wanted To Write A Long Song.”
