So now our beloved pets are be taken away from there families, for doing nothing wrong and being punished by death! All because it is or has pit bull mixed in! It is a true shame that our society has lost all compassion for living things – maybe we should enforce a law to put down stupid humans as these!

You’re right. People should think long and hard before they decide to take in a pet. They’re like children – they eat lot, cost a lot to care for, and shouldn’t be thrown out onto the streets when they become inconvenient.

I Had a white american pitt bull terrior in england it grew really quick so we had t give it to a friend in a larger house, my point is some people dont acknowledge how to look afer the animal even when they know the animal its too big and if an animal doesnt have enought space it can go mad like humans can,
but there really nice dog, friendly if brought up right.

I would consider moving too, in your position. One of my friends has the sweetest, most adorable pit bull that might be the best dog I’ve ever seen. They rescued her from a shelter that actually euthanizes all pit bulls they find (adopting the dog took some negotiating) because the shelter believes that most of the people adopting them in the past used them for dog fighting. Pit bulls need help: they are one of the most exploited dog breeds out there, and they have a bad reputation because evil people have trained some of them to be vicious.

this is rediculous! i own a pit and he is the sweetest lil lover i have ever seen! i have owned nothing but pit bulls my entire life and they have all been big cuddly bears! that sleep in my bed under the covers and snore in my ear! i hope that this law does not get passed ! ill have to move!

Breed Specific Legislation is a shame for the modern society. If a breed can be bad by birth what biological resort prevents humans to be bad only because they belong to a human race.
BSL is a symbolic nazi law.

I agree that this is a bad idea. If a dog is bad, it’s due to poor training, not its breed.

I have an american stafforshire terrier and he is the sweetest dog. How heart breaking for families who will be forced to give up a thier loving dog.
